The Municipality of Motiong is a 5th class municipality in the province of Samar, Eastern Visayas (Region VIII), Philippines. Known for its agricultural heritage and close-knit communities, Motiong serves as a growing hub in central Samar.

Geography

Motiong is located in the central part of Samar province, with rolling terrain and fertile agricultural lands. The municipality is bounded by Catbalogan City to the south, Paranas to the west, and Jiabong to the north.
