By accessing and using the LGU Portal ("the Portal"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Local Government Unit ("LGU").

Your continued use of the Portal following any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

The Portal provides the following government services and information:

The Portal is open to all individuals. However, to create an account and access registered services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent
• Provide truthful and accurate registration information
• Accept these Terms and the LGU Privacy Policy

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

When you submit content through the Portal (feedback, complaints, requests, documents), you:

• Grant the LGU a non-exclusive right to process and act upon your submission
• Certify that the information is truthful and complete to the best of your knowledge
• Understand that submissions may be subject to public disclosure under the Freedom of Information (FOI) program, unless exempted by law

The LGU reserves the right to review, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

Your use of the Portal is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, process, and protect your personal information in compliance with:

All content, design, logos, and materials on the Portal are the property of the LGU or its licensors. Public government documents are available in accordance with the Freedom of Information program (Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016).

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Portal content without prior written consent, except as permitted by law for government transparency purposes.

9 Disclaimers

• The Portal will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
• Information on the Portal is always complete or current
• The Portal is free from viruses or other harmful components

Users should verify critical government information through official channels.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, the LGU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Portal. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

11 Changes to Terms

The LGU reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

• A prominent notice on the Portal homepage
• Email notification to registered users
• A 30-day advance notice period for significant changes

12 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Philippine courts.
