The annual Brigada Eskwela program kicked off in Barangay Calapi with over 80 parent-volunteers working together to prepare Calapi Elementary School for the upcoming school year. Activities included repainting classrooms, repairing broken chairs and desks, clearing the school grounds, and setting up the reading corner with donated books. Kagawad Ana P. Torres, committee chair on education, coordinated with the school principal and the PTA to ensure all six classrooms were ready. "Education is a shared responsibility. Seeing our parents come together like this shows the strong bayanihan spirit of Calapi," she said.
